How do you perform a spell to bind someone from harming you? Are there spells for protection from harm?

My neighbor is harassing me, spraying weedkiller on my lawn, flowers, and vegetables. She broke the stem of my 12 ft. sunflower and said she wanted to kill me. All because I put down grass seed on my lawn in the dirt areas where she steps out of her car. I need to protect myself, and to bind her from doing further harm. She's trying to get me evicted, too. I've tried ignoring her, but that has just made her more aggressive. I'm afraid of her because I think she's mentally unstable. And she has a drinking problem.

Well, there's a number of things you can do in a binding spell. If you simply wished to protect your premesis, you could take a small canning jar, add some white sage for spiritual cleansing/protection, a coffin nail (you've heard the old saying "that's another nail in their coffin", basically reversing any harm anyone would do against you, turning it back on them), graveyard dirt (especially potent - particularly if from a child's grave) and of course, salt - salt is the universal purifying agent. Write your intention down on a small peice of paper and seal the jar - bury it in your yard. Also, you can sprinkle salt around the parameters of your yard, voodoo practitioners sometimes use red brick dust or chalk over the threasholds of doors, parameters, etc to prevent people of ill intent from crossing. For a direct binding, you could write the name of the person who wishes you harm in blood(chicken's) or red ink will do - I prefer ink. blood starts to stink. Fold it up, and burn it, spinkling a little salt over while saying, I bind you from doing any harm. Another way is to take a piece of twine, and knot it three times while saying the person's name and binding them from committing harm. Burn the twine afterward. You could also make a mojo bag with a small scrap of material, and inside place an item of the person wishing you harm ( a hair, fingernail clipping, photo, stc), place a coffin nail inside w/ some goofer dust (usually composed of herbs & salt or other materials) or simply put salt inside. Close it up, and keep it on your person if you are afraid of physical harm. Of couse, all of this can only be effective if you first take the necessary steps of notifying the police, getting restraining order, having support and energy of friends, and simply telling the person to leave you alone.

Both Luckymojo.com and Witchvox.com probably has some good advice on those things but I have to say that spells are only good for back up and support, and then only if you know what you are doing. The best binding is to call the police and file several reports. Make friends with someone on the local police force. As bad as that sounds, it helps if they know you and know you are not the nutter.



Then get yourself a security camera and set it up in a window to track trespassers (such as a neighbor who is getting pissy and might start damaging things). If you can get support from a few neighbors, that might also help.

I agree with Debz, binding spells are in a grey zone. But with clear intent, they work. I had no reprocussions. When the binding is out of protection not revenge. I have a powerful one that works. I used it and I have not had any real problems from this person since. As long as she stays in the freezer (the spell). But I cant release it in this forum. Also you need to do a protection spell. And hang a broom over your door for added home protection.

If you've already tried calling the police, then try calling a lawyer. You'll need proof of her abuse though. If you rent, then you need to report her to the landlord. He/She has a legal obligation to deal with tenants who harass others in the building. You definitely need to keep on law enforcement in the area though as they also have an obligation to protect you before she does something more serious than just mess up your yard.



As for bindings and protective spells, there are simple rituals that you can preform to help turn her interests away from you. Most books pertaining to the Wiccan religion will offer protection spells. But please do this in addition to your pursuit of legal action and not as a replacement.

Binding and Transformation:

The strongest spell for this is ODIN's BINDING

This is a major spell and should be reserved for the most serious problems. Since the police will not help...I'd say it is pretty serious. First let me start by telling you that

I practice Green Healing Magick and that Imposing your will on someone is not something you should normally do. In your case it is for your protection and thus I will share with you what I know. This spell is not meant to punish the person that it binds...but to help them. You should cast out of necessity and compassion...never out of anger. This woman obviously needs help. This spell is designed to stop people dead in their tracks, freeze them from harming themselves and others and to give pause (a clear space in which positive transformation can occur.)

You will need:

*A poppet-a female object like a doll that represents the person you will bind. (Hand made is always best) you embroder her name on it or affix a photo of her to the poppets face OR you can use a woman shaped candle with her name carved into it.

*Two black candles

* Black thread (cotton or even better is linen)not yarn because it is nylon usually and contains unnatural fabric.

*Incense(copal, fumatory, sandalwood, and frankencense are good)these can be found at most metaphysical shops.

*An image of or something connected to the person. If you don't have anything than write her name on a piece of paper.

*A healthy, living tree



Gather everything(except the tree)where you will cast the spell. Raise power. Light one candle and incense, cast a circle in your usual way. Bind the poppet with the thread, wrapping it around and around, making knots whenever you feel they are necessary. Speak to the person telling them specifically why you are binding them and what from. Leave a long piece of thread hanging from the poppet and tie nine knots in this, drip hot wax on the bindings to seal them. Use wax to seal any body parts you are binding, such as the hands of someone who is physical or the mouth if verbal.Close the circle and ground the power. Leave the poppet on your altar, touching what you are using to connect the person to the spell, until the candle and inscense have burnd out. Use the thread hanging from the poppet to then tie it upside down to the tree. Make the five fold bond, joining hands, neck, and feet if it is possible to do with the type of bindings and poppet used.

CHANT:

I ween that I hung on a windy tree,

hung there for nights full nine;

With the spear I was wounded,

and offered I was

To Odin, myself to myself,

On the tree that none may never know

What root beneath it runs.



This is the transformation part of the spell, The Norse God Odin's words about this experience of hanging himself as a sacrifice to gain wisdom. Leave the poppet on the tree for nine days and nights. Recite the poem to the poppet at least once each day, sending the person strong thoughts about the changes you want to manifest. Send compassion and enlightenment. Hold a mirror up to the poppet while you recite the poem if you want the person to "see" a certain situation. Yell at the poppet if you have anger you need to relase. This spell can be theraputic for you as well.

After nine and nigh take the poppet down and leave it bound. Light the second black candle and drip its wax all over the poppet. Speak to the person while you do this, saying whatever you think they need to hear. As soon as the wax sets, get the poppet out of your house and into the trash, Seal it in something if the person was a great threat. Do NOT bury it.

If the tree shows signs of growth afterward, that is a good sign that the transformation part of the spell is working. If the tree was going to bloom or bud anyway, there should be more than the usual amount as a good sign.



This is again a very powerful spell. If you would like something a bit more simple and are not experianced with the craft or spell cast I would not recommend such medling with Magick. It is very real.

Keep a diary of her behaviour and actions for the record. If you think she's drinking and driving report her for that. Contact your Council, Police etc. Find out where you stand legally.

At the moment you are the victim by becoming passively pro-active you can become the defender and show her to be the aggressor.

Then you need to call the police. Report her every time, make a paper trail. If she is unstable and has a drinking problem it shouldn't be hard to keep track of. You use magick last not first in these cases. Think of it this way, you may be helping a lot more people by reporting her.

I don't believe in spells so no help from me there. However, if she is trespassing on your property you have rights. If your local police are unwilling to help then go to the District Attorney and request a restraining order. Tell them you have called the police and they are unwilling to offer any satisfactory assistance. Ask other neighbors if they have seen any of the things she has done to your property or if they too have had trouble with her. You might get more results with the DA if others back you up.

I know it might sound absurd but when i was being hounded by a neighbour she suggested i got a glass jar with a lid, filled it with everything spiky from broken glass to nails then pee in it and bury it in the garden by the door. For some reason this woman thinks you want to take something from her. Please make a diary of what you remember she has done and from now on.



I don't think turning to the occult will help you as you do. But I will pray to Jesus for your protection from this person. She may indeed have a mental health problem and you need to tell your community police officer about the problem. It has to be documented and you need to report things to the police as they happen and get an incident number.



In the mean time keep to your own borders of land and make sure you keep off hers. You want everything to be pretty and perhaps this is what angers her. Perhaps things aren't pretty for her.



I think the pagans will tell you about encroaching on anothers free will and spells and tell you to beware.

The best way is have a retaining wall of some sort, mesh wire is good, or a wooden one, and post 'no trespassing signs' on the fence. Take pictures or get witnesses or your neighbor trespassing on your land. If your boro or town has any laws or ordinances concerning trespassing, press charges on her. there ARE spells for protection, and they DO work. firstly though you must do ev erything you can practically to stop this tiresome individual. she can get an asbo from the neighbourhood nuisance dept in the local council check it on your website, you can take out a claim for criminal damage if shes trashed your stuff....god i'd want to boot her head in if she did that to me. get a candle, black to remove negativity, scratch her name into it and burn it all down at the same time on a waning moon for 9 nights...bury the remains of the protection spell in the garden. also at the same time visualise a big high invisible impenitrable fence around your property...it'll soon stop.
