Does the magic pendulum tell the future?

Or does it only tell you what you already know subconsciously? I just wonder how it works. If it only reads my subconscious mind, how can it tell the future? I am in a weird love situation right now ... not going into details. But I asked the pendulum a few questions about the future of this relationship. I wonder if it can really tell the truth, or if it is only telling me what I "want to hear"... insight? Thanks.

In my opinion, no it does not tell you the future. A pendulum gives you a 'visual' effect of what your subconscious is 'saying'. It is believed by many that we already have all the answers to any questions we may ask, within our selves, if that is right then I think the pendulum just 'shows' us those answers. Remember though that nothing is set in stone, so our thoughts and actions now in the present, are what will determine our futures. Depending on what we do now allows us to change the future outcome. Nothing nor no one can tell you what the future will bring for you - that is your decision. Good luck.

The pendulum always functions through micro-movements of the hand. So obviously there is an unconscious factor at play. The real question is whether your subconscious mind can potentially interface with the "akashic record". Some people are quite good with pendulums and can, for instance, find the locations of missing objects using it with a map. If you are just starting with the pendulum, I don't think there is a good way to tell how objective the results will be.

Yes. I feel it better to be used for personal questions such as "what herbs should I use" or Should I go to Lunch with NAME" because it reads what we want more....Which ever answer you get is the one you want the most for times when you're just not sure.



But it can also answer other questions..it just takes so long lol I haven't the patience for many questions at one answer at the time.



People have been using it for many many years so even IF i didn't know anything about the pendulum it would be interesting to check it out and find out why it hasn't died as a practice. Must be something useful in it for people to keep using them ;)

See, that's a very big misconception of any divination tool. They don't tell the future. They simply reflect what's already in your subconscious. It's based on the theory that everyone knows everything, we just have to have the right tools to unlock the knowledge. It just seems like a supernatural tool that tells the future because most people aren't in tune with their subconscious. It's all very scientific, really.

I personally don't feel that the penduluum is the most accurate divinatory tool out there. However, each person resonates differently with different tools. Once you find one that you really feel comfortable with and you resonate with, a divinatory tool can be a wonderful way to enhance your own intuition. Journaling intuitive or psychic hits may be a better way for you to advance yourself spiritually. Asking any divinatory tool yes or no questions usually ends in disappointment or poor decision-making.

Your subconsious will vibrate your hand with smalll, unnoticable motions that rotate the pendulum. So no, it doesn't tell the future. Only tells u what u want it to say.

I would say it is doing neither, because there is not a lot of magic around. I won't deny the existence of magic because the Bible acknowledges that magic comes from the devil. but I don't think their is magic is common or can really be done by just anyone.
