1. Birth - son of Zeus & a mortal woman, Alcmene.

2. Goal/Quest - His famous 12 Labors

3. Journey - He was a member of the Argonauts (many adventures) Also went to the Underworld.

4. Friend/Guide - Iolaus his friend and charioteer

5. Dangers (Nemean Lion, Hydra, Mares of Diomedes)

6. Darkness - He went mad and murdered his wife Megara and children.

7. Success - he solved all 12 Labors

8. Qualities - Extraordinary strength, courage, ingenuity & sexual prowess

9. Courage - self evident/12 Labors

10. Strength - held up the Sky in place of the titan, Atlas.

11. Kept solving all his adventures/12 Labors

12. Rescues the Titan, Prometheus who had given the gift of fire to mankind.

14. Cleverness - used river to clean Augean Stables / Tricks Atlas into taking the sky back onto his shoulders
