Think of Edward Cullen, he'll save you.

...just blast music into your ears until you can't think coherently. always had helped me. I find that it's easier to relax when you can't think, because nowadays, the world is just frightening.

...also, read. read until you fall asleep, read a book that you love, something that sets your heart alight...if you like the supernatural, i highly recommend the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead. If not, try reading a mystery novel...it'll suck you right into the story and eventually, you'll lose all sense of reality and then your bodily needs will kick in.

...if you're really that scared, talk to a doctor about sleeping pills.

Ok I got the same prob! I wqas even scared a monster would come out of the closet after watching monsters inc! Lol. I also get scared when I watch scary commercials like the uninvited or the unborn or something. oooooh!

Anyways I have a trick that works every time! Ok here's what I do:

1.get a paper and a pencil.

2.write down all your scared of even draw a pic

3.now that you have your fears on the paper you need to draw a copy of it on a nother sheet of paper or in a copier.

4.what you do is burn one of them. And watch it. Now that those fears are gone and will never come back. Ok now on the other copy you need to take these scary things and turn them into something funny. Like put skates on a spider and make him fall and can't get up lol. Or make a demon look like a baby sucking his thunb with a diaper and a rattle or bottle instead of a pitchfork or something. You get it?

Ok do this and it should work but if it dosent try putting on music to listen to. And put one of those eye things on. Likwe a blindfold. So no matter what you'll get sleepy. You need ur sleep.and remember all those craks and creaks r just the house sediling down for the night. And don't forget about night lights movies till u fall asleep and food can always keep you entertained. Now let's think do you think just cuz u saw that movie and ur scared that its going to happen to u naw! It could happen to anbyone anything! Heck it probably won't even happen. That's what I say. Just ciuz I saw the commercial/movie dosent mean it going to happen to me! Lol good luck!

I can understand, that movie was pretty scary. Freddy Krueger was my nightmare as a teenager. That movie may have been based on facts, but I believe these exorcism movies are a little dramatic. The actions of the victims can truly occur, but Jesus only said a sentence and demons left the people. As a Christian, if I were worried about something like that, just quote the verse from 1John 4:4 "He who is in me, is greater than he who is in the world."

Ok imagine that your brain is a sponge and whatever you watch (scary movies, the news etc) your brain will absorb the images. Well, then it's up to you to filter what you watch and think about. We all have scary thoughts! Just think about it the people who wrote and directed the scary movies had those scary thoughts first, then put them into a movie and then you watch their scary thoughts. I suggest you spend more time watching pleasant movies. That will alleviate some of the scary thoughts.

i hav a feeling u just saw the exorcism of emily rose lol. i never seen that but i heard it's scary as h***. ummm whenever im scared, i have my mommy tickle my back and that helps me go to bed. or you could drink warm milk, though that never works lol. Take some Tylenol, cuz theres stuff in it that helps u sleep. or if ur old enuf, take sleeping pills. but i don't like using medicine to help me sleep. that's all i can think of. hoped i helped!

If you believe in Jesus and God, to reassure yourself, sleep with a bible in your arms. It worked for me during some psychotic episodes brought on by severe depression. There is no greater love.

Also, go to your Doctor and ask for a check up. A lot of times, physical aliments cause strange behavior. Go to your doctor and tell them you are not feeling right.

Read a heart warming or happy story before you go to bed. Any time a scary thought comes in your head think about the story or a happy memory of your. You have the power to control your thoughts just practice using it.

I'd think fo every single happy detail of your day, and then eventually you'll get tired and bored, and fall asleep. And if that doesn't work, think of the happy details of your week. That's what I do.
