Question:
Has anyone had any of those spells or readings done from ebay?
2009-03-17 05:57:42 UTC
Hey... I was just looking around at eBay and I saw some reading and spells that people sell. I think this is a wee bit strange, but I was wondering has anyone tried it? I mean how can they do a reading over eBay? I know you send your email ect ect. I read up on it, but does any one have any success stories from it? Also spells, I see so many 'power sellers' give out cheap spells, frankly that person wouldn't have time to do all the spells that she carries out. I think its a scam. Would any one like to share their experience? I wanted to know what everyone else thought!

I have never purchased a spell from ebay but have been tempted to simply to see if any results came out of it.

The way you do a reading is you tap into the energy of the person requesting the reading. One way to do it is to retrieve it from the email. For instance this question of yours is already radiating with your energy, energy that got there as you typed.

Other methods include calling on your soul..the part of you that is god-like. So understanding and loving. The being within all of us that can be described as perfect.

And well there are other methods many people choose, some more elaborate than others but it's very possible. A reading done with tarot, pendulum, crystal ball etc is all the same thing. You tap into an energy using a certain tool and you speak what you "see". While some say that the querent has to be present well that's just true.

even healings can be done long distance.

I can use my own energy (if i have to) to ask the question and it will be answered just the same.

As for spells, I doubt they get more than 10 requests a day and anyone can easily do more than 10 a day once youve become good at what you do. There have been days when some of our friends here on Y!A have been going through hard times and I actually do work for them (without charge and when i offer) as I browse through and I know for a fact that I did more than 10 workings in one day just from here.

Depending on the work, a certain amount of time will go into it. Think about a mechanic....

You go to a mechanic and there are two options. One experienced person and someone who just started. If you asked for a certain job to be done, who do you think will be done faster?

Naturally the Experienced mechanic would do a faster and secure job becuase of his confidence and knowledge in his line of work. Someone who just started would take long just to make sure it's done well...and planning out perhaps etc.

So am I saying you should go for it? Absolutely not. I am saying that it is possible so you can just wipe from your thoughts and focus on the real questions.

Can you trust the person? Have you looked around enough? Have you tried emailing each of the ebayers to get a feel for them? I think that would be helpful because whichever fills you with a sense of comfort, protection and healing then that would be your best choice.

Trust your instincts but don't forget about your reasoning skills.

Be well, Be Blessed and may you find exactly what you need (or want)

First of all, Aandeg, if you say all are scams, than that's because you are an atheist and that isn't going to nail down the fact that real psychics have solved some criminal cases on unsolved mysteries, and that spell casting have worked for many customers and I am one of them. There are genuine psychic and spell casters I have worked with for years on eBay and they are 100% real. To say they're all scam is like saying all attorneys are scam. Yes, there are fake psychics and spell casters on eBay who are taking people's money, but most of them are legitimate and eBay's plan to ban all of them is not going to solve the problem. Now the answer to your question is yes. Since it effects people of their religious choice different from Christianity and if eBay only allow bible and christian items to be sold while disallowing wicca, voodoo, herbs and other metaphysical items that play a role in their faith, then that is prejudice and discrimination. However, eBay can do whatever they want. They can either respect the first amendment and allow metaphysical religion to continue, or disrespect the first amendment and take away people's right. I don't think the Court will grant petitioner's request against eBay, but I can only say they can try and see if it will. Hope this answers your question.

I actually have a psychic I use semi-regularly through Ebay. You just have to send your name, date of birth and question, and she can pick up on things. I've found her accurate, and she had actually been recommended to me.

I've never hired a spellcaster through Ebay and probably most of them are fakes (like you say, the ones listing 30 different spells a day for like $9 each couldn't really be doing very serious work on any of them.) I did once *sell* a spell on Ebay, and I did really cast it -- I wanted to make some extra cash and had the materials for that particular spell; using Ebay allowed me to just list that spell the one time (instead of having to set up a whole website to sell a one-time spell.) I did hear some good things about someone -- I can't recall her name -- who was mostly a psychic but who usually lists 1 or 2 spells for sale, someone I know said her money spell worked well.

Most wonderful blessings to you witchtalismans. Yes some of these people do give real readings on ebay. I believe they need you name, date of birth and maybe some other information. This depends greatly upon what type of reading. As for items which are already spell casted the witch coven that help sisters of the north have some items on ebay as well. Luck, love money etc very popular and highly recommended by many others.

It's not strange. I bought a spell for more money, about a week later I won £6 on the lottery and my mum won £80! There are some frauds out there but if you can find the trustworthy sellers it can really help you through lifes ups and downs. Trust me there are a hell of a lot more 'strange' things being sold on ebay.. I should know! XD

As a practicing witch for over 10 years, honestly id write my own spells any day.( and nit just because ive been doing it so long, I learned spells quite early on in my path and made the decision then , so its never too early to learn them!)

Id never buy them from someone else because they are far more effective and accurate if you know your exact purpose and taylor to it.

They are more personal and contain more personal energy and , why pay for them when made by another person who you dont even know when you teach yourself .

There are so many scams out there people offering fancy gimmicks ( when some of the most effective spells dont need rhyming verses and old speak or fancy tools etc, they are plain and simple, direct and from the heart) or quick fixes like instant love and money but the realtiy of spells is very different; spells, especially of this nature are often a last resort and are to be carried out with ones own efforts in daily life for change as well and very often do not happen in the exact way you would anticipate!

(Also with spells there is a flip side to what you do and you need to think about this when you write them- be careful what you ask for! for example, asking for things like love- never use a spell to bind someone to you or make them l fall in love with you; and for money - it has to come from somewhere so consider where.you may need to be prepared to give back in another way to restore the balance.)

As for readings, it does depend on the kind, I do have to wonder how some of these people do things though without even meeting you it makes me very skpetical at times.

I echo everything that Shadow Storm has already said but would just like to add that I always read my own energy as there is no one more in tune with it than me. Learn to connect with your own energy field and that way you will never have to pay out for anyone (real or fake) to tell you anything as all the answers will be given to you via your own intuition and higher self. Also as Shadow Storm mentioned, if you are well experienced at these things, it is amazing just how many readings or distance healing's you can do in the length of a day. Thumbs up and many blessings to you Shadow.

Hope this helps to answer your question. I wish you a bright and happy future. :-)

Who knows, maybe it works. I mean just because no one has yet claimed the million dollars from the million dollar challenge http://www.randi.org/research/index.html

Doesn't mean its not real right?

I mean who needs a million dollars or the publicity associated with proving you have supernatural powers? especially when you are advertising over E-Bay.

The truth is, if you believe it, then it is real. That is the truth. Because we are quite capable of self delusion and the cons are quite good at giving generic info that you naturally will associate with specific events. Thus giving the illusion that something profound happened. As you can see this is a relatively simple example of how self delusion is possible, but there are far more powerful effects that even sceptics can fall victom too. Such as the ideomotor effect. Our powers of self delusion are quite strong.

I thought it was bad enough that people in this day and age still believed in psychics and spells and all that nonsense anyway but now you're telling me that people are gullible enough to spend their money on ebay for this silliness?

Our society is doomed.

Edit:

So I've been slammed for voicing my opinion. I take a lot of hate from believers who tell me I'm doomed to hell but I let it slide because that's their opinion.
