Interest started in Celtic Mythology advancing to Greek & Roman and now centering on First People.

I love Greek Mythology. The tales have a beautiful mix of comedy, tragedy and usually a lesson to be learned. The Gods and Goddesses each lend something important to us.

I also enjoy Native American studies and Celtic tales.

Religion and mythology are not the same. And yes, there is a Christian mythology. Some scholar say myths are stories that deal with the creation of the universe, or the word, or tray to explain some phenomena (seasons, rain, day, night). With this definition on mind, some biblical stories as the two versions of creation, Noah´s story, and Babel Tower, are myths. Well, I think some fundamentalist can think what I´m saying is heretic, but i think you are open minded. There are also other kind of christian myths, not biblical, as the Holy Grial stories. Do you remember all the excitement about the millenium, when we were approaching to 2000? That idea, the millenium, is also a christian myth.

I'm all about the norse mythology. After reading the divine comedy (Dante), and seeing that heaven is just a bunch of singing and bright lights, the idea of valhalla looks much more interesting. If only I knew how to get there...

Greek and Roman has long been a favorite of mine, but I have to say that Indian mythology is pretty darn great.

I can't pick! My favorite thing about mythology is comparing it to other mythologies. It's the same way with folklore.

Norse. I mean where else do you have guys hanging themselves for knowledge. I tried it once and all I got was a rope burn.

Of those, Norse, because the Gods, or Aesir and Vanir, are more human than in classical mythology. Each have their weaknessess and strengths, and are sometimes bawdy. While Greco-Roman stories near soap operas, the Eddas sometimes make you burst out laughing.
