For some reason, my grandmother got me these voodoo dolls when she was in Guatemala, thinking they were cute. But coincidentally, all these weird things have been happening. like last night, i have this mirror in my room, across the room from me, and i woke up to it crashing on me, when in reality, there was no way in hell it could have fallen over, let alone hit me 10 feet away! the next night, last night, i was sitting on my bed texting people, keep in my everyone was asleep, and all of a sudden ecery single picture on my wall fell off... This was frightening! when i awoke the next morning, i found my closet WIDE open, when i completely shut it every night.

Can someone post a website with most of the symbols and meanings for me?

Thanks!

This is the first time I hear someone speak ill of the worry dolls. They're not voodoo dolls at all and are similar to worry stones. What you do with them is you keep them under your pillow or by your bed side at all times. As you go to sleep you speak to them all your worries and in this way they are theraputic. They "take your worries" so that you can sleep. Some say that while you sleep they resolve your issues. I own several sizes of them and you usually find them in a child's room and some adults also find them useful. They are not at all harmful, they are not voodoo and they do not harm anyone. They are at the same level as the dream catcher or a worry stone (which is usually made of onyx and used by rubbing).

Be well,

Make your dolls offerings of incense and Coke to keep them happy.

Despite the hostility of the Catholic church, which has tried to identify him with Judas Iscariot, in many Guatemalan villages Maximon is still worshipped with offerings of tobacco, alcohol, Coca Cola, and a tropical plant with orange-red berries. Incense and perfume dedicated to him is scented with the orange blossoms or blended citrus odors of lemongrass, citronella, and sweet orange. On his feast day, he is carried through the streets on the shoulders of his human "horse," and his statue is given cigarettes or cigars to smoke. In some villages he may be hung from the sacred Mayan world-tree-cross at the end of his ceremony.

It sounds more like some other negativity does not like you having the positivity of the worry dolls around you. Could be the spirit of someone who does not believe in having them.
