Haha, I understand how you feel, now I think about it, yeah Greek Mythology is pretty confusing.

I started off by just borrowing a general book of myths from creation, the Titans, then to the later events. It would be best if you learnt the members of the Greek pantheon, mythical creatures and learn a basic time line of what happened. That's so you can have a basic understanding, otherwise everything will be confusing shizz lol. Usually, if you borrow a book on Greek mythology it should be in order (Or to the best of its ability).

Afterwards you know the really common and well known ones, you can start reading more, and blah blah, you'll just read whatever you're interested in.

well you could begin like its a story and read about the deites before Zeus then read the Titanomachy then the gigantmachy to the mythology we all know and love like the Trojan War , The Odyssey, 300 Spartans vs Persian empire, or how Hera threw Hephaestus off Olympus or about Hercules and the Nemean Lion, Theseus and the Labrinyth and defeat of the Minotaur, Perseus and Medusa, Athena vs Arachne, Midas and the Golden touch, Pan and the famous Panic, Apollo and his Sacred cows in which Hermes stole, maybe the Infidelity of Zeus.

or if you really fancy modern Greek mythology maybe try Clash or Wrath of the titans , Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

it really is the most interesting stuff i have ever read about theres thousands of stories to chose from.

Hope this helped

All I know about Greek mythology would take a few weeks and a few thousand pages of a phrase report. It's been one in every of my predominant interests in view that I used to be 10 years historical. There are thousands of Greek gods, some fundamental, most lovely minor. The principal ones are the 12 Olympians (who survive Mt. Olympus) together with a couple of other essential gods: Aphrodite -- goddess of love and grace Apollo -- god of the solar, gentle, track, arts, poetry, healing Ares -- god of struggle & slaughter Artemis -- goddess of the moon, the hunt, animals Athene -- goddess of knowledge, strategic struggle, crafts Demeter -- goddess of the earth and agriculture Hephaestus -- god of the forge Hera -- queen of the gods, patroness of ladies and marriage Hermes -- god of thieves & commerce. The messenger god. Hestia -- goddess of the fireplace and residence Poseidon -- god of the ocean Zeus -- king of the gods, primarily a sky deity Hades -- god of the Underworld Persephone -- goddess of spring (eight months out of the year) & Queen of the Underworld (4 months out of the yr) Dionysus -- god of wine and revelry To read extra about Greek mythology, here's a link to the wikipedia article below. There are tons of hyperlinks you could comply with. I also endorse a ebook called "Mythology" by Edith Hamilton.

Start by simply learning the Greek god pantheon. When you are reading about them (online for example) you may find references to other points of interest. Just go from there.

Play the video game God of War. But realize that god's bleed gold blood and not red blood like mortals. So the game has inaccuracies but is still a great game.
