Then I assume you researched enough to know that the parts of the Bible "against" magic were not in the original version? That they were added later in the King James version to give them the right to hunt down and kill undesirables (like wise women, herbalists, the mentally and physically afflicted, and all those of other religions). In fact, the original phrase was "thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live". We know because we have versions before that.

And, if God was against magick, why would He have invited the Wise Men (astrologers) to the birth of His son? Why would Jesus himself have done energy work? (Remember the story where the woman touches the hem of his robe and he turns to see why the energy left him?) And really, what is prayer but a focused use of energy?

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, as is thinking only in black and white. When it comes to religion, there is a lot more gray than you think. All religions have a lot more in common than you suspect - only the words are different.

I believe more in good and evil, that defines what we are. Saying that i have never denied christ, yet i practise magick.

I would never give up one for the other. Both are my life, magick more so.

The setting of curses is not the way i see magick, through magick i get help from the other world.

Curses are for people who cannot live, and get what they want honestly. I use magick as a communication method, not to knock out my job application opponents.

The moving of objects by magick is not easy to do, and the road for that magick is not for me, as i see no use to it, but to maybe show off a strong power, from a doubtful source.

If you wish any more detail you are free to contact me.

I do contact the dead and do use magick to do it, i also feel this does not put me in line for hell.

Anything can be used for evil, it is up to the person using to see it is not used for that or to gain advantage other than knowledge and communication.

"The kingdom of God is within you and all around you".

So said a good man. Practitioners of nature based religion see it as just that, a kingdom of the divine that resides in the world around you and within yourself. We take traditions of old, symbols of our cultures, then pray to our Gods and Goddesses to help us in our endeavors. These "artifacts/weapons" that Pagans use such as a chalice, bell, and asthame have also been found in some scripture, such as the Last Supper. If you read the last supper with a Pagan eye, you see a man participating in a cleansing ritual and doing a ritual with his coven, (the foot washing and breaking of bread).

Some will say that what I'm saying is blasphemy and sacrilegious. However, it shows even Christianity has very Pagan roots. It is not so cut and dry.

Wait, so you're asking "what the bible says about magickal ..." just after saying "i have read parts of the bible against this."

You've apparently read the bible, so you should be able to answer this on your own.

Be careful about making conclusions (especially of religious nature)- each time you settle on an idea, you stop seeking alternative explanations and your mind dies just a little bit inside.
