Looking at the Bibel, there's a verse in 2nd corinthians that states the enemy is death. That's -more or less, and can be interpreted as- a metaphor for Satan. Even if you interpret this verse as not a metaphor, the grim reaper is still not good.

The Reaper is a personification of death. Satan is a personification of evil. Neither exists in reality.

different people, grim reaper is death, the one who removes souls from this world
Satan is the devil, ruler of hell cast down from heaven after defying god
you don't usually hear both in the same story cause Grim is more Ancient Greek, and Satan is more Christian

When you think about it they are kind the same people. But i believe they are meant to be two different people. That's a good question i never really thought about it like that

In mythology, the Grim Reaper represents the entity who comes to collect your soul at death....not evil, not good.
Satan, on the other hand, is all evil, there is nothing good in him. He is the ruler of the underworld.

Actually, no. The angel of death or the Grim Reaper "Decides if souls go to heaven or hell." Satan or The Devil is the "Ruler" of hell.

No. They are two different things. Satan is the ruler of hell. He is pure evil. The Grim Reaper is neither evil nor good. He just takes you to the other side when you die.

The Grim Reaper is supposed to be the symbol for death.

I would say no. My reason is this: Death is not evil. Death is a natural part of existence. Satan is a man-made spectre who personifies the man-made concept of evil. Good and evil do not exist in nature.

Grim reaper "the concept"of the grim reaper is a mythical being that takes lives when their time has come, just doing his job really, he isn't evil or meant to be, he doesnt have any plans to run, ruin demolish the world, nor does he have any evil intentions.
Not really. Satan is the lord of the underworld and basically watches over all the souls trapped in hell. The grim reaper is a more neutral character. Think of him/her/it as the personification of death itself.

The Grim Reaper is supposedly the Angel of Death, a completely different character from Satan, who is no longer considered an angel by anybody.

Satan is the form of evil. The gatekeeper of hell, and the one who inflicts internal damnation on all of them.
The Grim Reaper, or the spirit of Death, is simply put, Death. A force of nature. Something neutral. It happens to everyone. Eventually. Sleep sweet. :)

Different
Grim Reaper - Lives and breathes death, and takes the life out of you when the time is right.
Satan - Follows up on his work.

Grim Reaper is death, only ends your life, does not collect your soul

of course they are different!
Grim Reaper is the one who will accompany the soul of the dead person going to the life after death ot to the other dimension of the world.
While Satan is a pure evil thing! God of Devils! hes not going to go with you when you die! bcuz Satan is very busy tempting others to temptations. Satan dont care about the dying person.

Normally, the Grim Reaper is death incarnate. He's generally just doing his job - he's not running hell, and he's not particularly interested in whether people wind up in heaven or hell.
Wiki has a specific section on Death and Satan, partway down the link below, but I think that's a bit different. The "Angel of Death" in a biblical sense is not what most people mean by the Grim Reaper (at least in my opinion).
