is your house haunted?

my house is haunted by a few spirits and many things go missing too, knocks, bangs voices and footsteps we are so used to it but was wanting to know what you have seen, heard in your house, things that cannot be explained. .

My houses have always been haunted, not sure if that's because I've always lived in old houses or simply that they are drawn to me but whatever the case is I've had my fair share of ghost encounters. Things like knocks, bangs, rustling could simply be a house settling or a strong breeze. But when it is a ghost if that is all they do then you really don't have much to worry about. I know there are a lot of horror stories about ghosts but so far in my experiences ghosts aren't much to worry about unless you are the kind who decides to wage war on them. Generally the ghosts I've encountered are more the "you leave me alone I'll leave you alone" type. Occasionally you will find the ones who enjoy the company and try to be known and a part of your life or the kind who are just plain fascinated with your life in general and will take your possessions seemingly for no other reason then to check them out. My old house had a little girl ghost who stole my things and would eventually return them in bizarre places, like finding my MP3 in the fridge or my necklace on the top shelf of the pantry where even my mom needed a ladder to reach. Most people who don't believe in ghosts will explain those moments as simple forgetfulness but I'm pretty sure I'd remember chucking an heirloom into the pantry, not to mention it would have had to be the perfect shot, it was laying like it was on display or something, perfectly straightened out near the back behind the vases, crockpot, and other large nearly useless items we kept up there. Also most who don't believe will try to dismiss bangs, thumps, voices, etc as the house settling or simply your imagination.

Personally I have run into the not so friendly ghosts and have yet to find a skeptic who can explain the physical manifestations of ghosts like the many many pictures I've taken over the years where figures are clearly visible, including pictures I took at Virginia city, Bodie, and a few other tourist attractions claiming to be haunted. The one I recently took at Virginia city was so clear the proprietor of the establishment was able to identify it as a ghost they are very familiar with named Art who used to play the piano there back when it was a mining settlement even though the picture was on my tiny phone screen. Also haven't found skeptics able to explain scratches or other visible marks ghosts have given me. In the same hotel I got the picture of Art in my mom walked out with dusty fingerprints on her black skirt which even if she had touched her skirt we had just washed our hands because we had eaten so her hand wouldn't be dusty, not to mention the angle of the handprint was that of another person grabbing her skirt and it would have been interesting to see her messing with her skirt enough to make that handprint herself. lol

My house was built in 1923. We are the first residents of this house that are not related to the family. I have seen the first family Mr. and Mrs. that had this house built. I have only seen these two twice since we moved in 4 yrs. ago.. I have fell down our stairs twice. ( there are at least 16 stairs), wondering how in the world this happened. How did I live through these falls! Drs. are the e,r, say the same. There are many, many strange noises that can't be explained. Sometimes we hear a old fashion phone ring. Our doorbell rings, no one is there. All this starts around 2 to 3 a.m.. My personal belongings go missing, not to found yet! I see something out of the corner of my eyes. My cats stare at something on the walls all the time in the downstairs bedroom. I feel like I am always being watched in our basement. My cats always stare at the same corner when I am down there doing laundry. Unexplained sounds from upstairs , like furniture being moved around. Starts every night around 2a.m. Finding out some history on the house , the first Mr. and Mrs. passed away in this house. One in the upstairs bedroom, and the other one in the downstairs bedroom. This is the room I stay in since I took the 2nd. fall. I now am dying of liver failure. I have unexplained bruises and marks all over my body.. My husband has seen shadows upstairs, but of coarse he has a negative attitude.. He will only admit to the one time he seen his first sightings of shadow people. I have talked to many residents around town, and family members they all tell me different stories of the happenings of this house. I can't help but think this house is haunted. Will I be the next one to die in this house? I have came close to death twice here in our Indiana home.

My house is probably haunted, I live across the road to a graveyard and I have had experiences of seeing not entities in a form you'd usually imagine seeing them in but shadows for example, usually out of the corner of my eye. My most mentally believable accounter with one was when I was around twelve and I was sat alone in my dining room and kept getting that presence of someone behind me and when I kept looking I saw my shadow and then I saw a distance away from mine another shadow taller and wider than mine for a second and each time I looked around it moved some distance from its original spot. I usually get really random sudden cold drifts even in really bright and sunny still days in my house and I hear the occasional footstep when I'm in bed at night also random things fall daily.

Our house is haunted. It's called the House of Representatives, and it's haunted by two of the most evil spirits I ever saw. And yes, I believe a living soul can haunt people if it's degenerated and evil enough.

It's driving me insane..

Ok I'll start with last night

So lately I haven't had any paranormal stuff only that my old wood dresser that my parents got for free from a fire that it keeps popping at night :x Well last night was really creepy so i was in bed staring at wall and really depressed thinking..But then I heard something crawling in the living room up in the attic slowly and then into my bedroom and it stopped..the more depressing thoughts I had it became louder..and then it knocked down like 2 boxes and it all went silent I hid under my blankets because I was ******* scared because our attic is inside no way an animal could get in..then i hid under the blanket and thought about the ghost things..and it started making the attic make walking noises and then when I thought about happy thoughts it stopped... I stayed under the blankets until i could barley breathe



So then heres what happened this morning



I was getting up and finding jeans in that old dresser i told you about that pops well I was grabbing a pair when my closet which is into the bathroom its like 12 or something feet away and it slowly started creaking open and I got scared as **** and then i felt like I was being watched and then when i think about it the ceiling started popping in the area where the boxes fell and when i didnt think about it stopped



One more thing I need to tell u that happened a few nights ago though



One night the popping in my dresser got crazy and kept popping loudly and so did the attic I was thinking in my head "GO AWAY GO AWAY" and I heard if u think or say Jesus Christ it would go away so i thinked about it and it got even louder and then when i stopped thinking about it stopped..

Our house is victorian and we have an extention, my bedroom in in the extention. When I walk up the stairs, it sometimes sounds like there's another set of footsteps behind me, and my sister always comes out her room saying ''who else walked up the stairs with you?''. It sounds the same when anyone walks up. It feels so creepy around the loft stairs and in the loft, always like there's people behind me when i'm up there.



When i'm in my room i'm totally fine.. As if nothing can get past where the window used to be.. So they can't leave the house? They can't get past where the house used to end?



I often hear things fall onto the floor on the landing, i'm home alone almost every weekday. We have cats, but when I go to check, they're either still asleep or lying down as if they were woken up by it too.. But nothing's fallen over.



Sometimes my cat stares at nothing, often on the wall. Sometimes when she's on my lap, she seems to stare at something behind me, I finally look, and nothing.

My house is right next to a graveyard and every night we hear noises, banging and one night when I was in bed my door slammed shut and all the windows where shut so I'd say my house is haunted

In my house in about 1950s there was a girl who was playing around when her father was putting a window pane in and he droped it down the gap in the stairs at the glass hit her and shattered and she died. We've experienced glasses slippin off the edges of tables and rubbing sounds on glass. Cold patches and sounds but wether or not its haunted i dont know but it is creepy.

I pretty much think so. People that I know are sceptics when it comes to the paranormal. Sometimes I saw a shadow and it appeared to be stood right next to my bed.

and then disappearing and then reappear and cried.

Well I live in an apartment so can ghosts b in apartments? Idk but one time I was In my room aand something fell in the kitchen. When I looked a spice had fallen from where it was stacked. Idk how that could've happen. I see random shadows and my cats look at seeming nothing, like they can are something I cant
