Question:
Is there any truth in the science of astrology or it is a COMPLETE bullshit?

I am not sure what to think about it now. I've been reading some astrology books, and it says everywhere that this is a complex science that needs to be studied long, and I see many people who help each other on various astrological internet sites and forums and give "life answers" based on just two things - place and date of birth.

Well, I decided to give it a try, and I posted my data where forum people who are dealing with astrology would tell me some things about my future. I couldn't believe when I saw how correct it was! They even guessed that I am studying management and that I will have a "broad influence on people I work with". I really do feel I have a broad influence.

There is something like medical astrology as well, where an astrologer can tell what diseases someone will get and maybe even die from. One of those people told me that I will die from "a rare nerve disorder at the age of 30 when Uranus enters my 8th house"(I am 22 now).......that got me a bit freaked out! And they predicted that one forum person there will be heavily wounded in a car crash......and SHE WAS!

My question to you is....Should this be trusted? Do astrology people really know more than we do, and can they really predict future for us, or it's all bullshit, which should be ignored?

There is no "science" of astrology because astrology is not science.

It's folklore.

If you are a Christian it is not something that God will ignore you doing. It is forbidden by God. So it is a sin and you must repent.

Here is what the Lord says about this ancient occultic practice.

Abominable PracticesDeuteronomy 18: 10 – 12 outlines very specifically a number of different kinds of false prophets. God speaks very clearly about His regard for them as well. “There shall not be found among you anyone… who practices witchcraft (the use of magic), or a soothsayer (a diviner), or one who interprets omens (someone who reads signs), or a sorcerer (a magician or wizard), or one who conjures spells, or a medium (a person claiming to be in contact with spirits of the dead), or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.”

Astrology Forbidden to Christians Fortune telling and astrology are lumped together with other forbidden practices as sorcery and are abominable to God. Christians must not participate in these practices. The Bible is clear. Those who continue doing these things, will find themselves left out of God’s kingdom. “Outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” See also Revelation 21:8 and Galatians 5: 19 – 21.

I think there is truth. I guess it's a calculation. To predict correctly a person's future, birth date and time must be correct. I think it's approximate. I don't know whether there is any person to predict a forth coming incident accurately with time and date in these days.

I have read in Indian ancient legends that some sages had intercourse with their wives after seeing the planetary conditions to give birth to most intelligent and powerful children. I think that Indians have this belief even now in India.

well i have heard stories of people with astrology claims which have been true. however i think that there is no real logic behind it. and how could people living millenia ago have gained such knowledge and now we are clueless? it seems really nonsensical to me. Perhaps if you go further into the field you will find out more about how they find their answers. but i think little that it is their blind trust in the starts.

they may know more than we do, but no one knows for sure whats out there or whats going on. NO ONE does! The only thing I think personally that knows all that is God. Scientists may study more, but what are they studying? no one knows exactly whats out there, no matter how "close" your guess it. they may give percentages or something, but its never 100%. think about that. no one knows for sure whats out there, and that fascinates me
