werewolves?

Some say werewolves aren't real, well i say they are. I'm just looking for proof of there existence. So if anyone knows anything about them feel free to post here or send me an email on yahoo answers.

Do they exist? How do you find them? What would they do if they thought someone was on to them?

I know about therians but I'm not sure what I could say to prove their existence because it's all about what you believe, where you are getting your information and who you believe.

If there were proof they existed - then there wouldn't be any debate on the subject. You wont find proof, sorry.



The folklore of werewolves can come from many origins.



1. Perhaps someone saw a man enter the woods and a wolf leave, and that spawned the belief of werewolves.



2. Lunacy is a form of insanity caused by the gravitational pull of the moon. Statistic shows that crime increases on the full moon. Is this from some form of Lunacy? Or just because the moon is bright so it is easier to see what you are doing?



3. Someone got bit by a rabid wolf, and contracted rabies. Ancient people probably thought the person with rabies was turning into a wolf, thus spawning the myth that a wolf bite can carry the disease.



I myself love the idea of werewolves and shapechangers. It would be interesting if it was true.

There is such thing as Clinical lycanthropy or Lycanthropic Disorder but u will never find proof of werewolves.



lycanthropy or Lycanthropic Disorder is bacically when someone believes that they are an animal (usuaily a wolf). They wont turn into the animal but they believe they are and will act like they are and will even become violent!

Its a mental disorder.



To be honest with you, finding proof that there are werewolves would take all the fun out of them and they would be just another thing to look out for. They are like the lockness monster, if theres proof of wheather it exists or not then it would take all the fun out of wandering and believing etc.
