Writing a book, need some human-like mythical creatures. They can be animals but they have to be able to take a human form. Please provide a short explaination, if you can. Please dont recommend vampires, pixies/fairies, werewovles/lycans, griffins, phoenixes, or dragons. I need a couple good creatures and a couple bad ones too. Even one suggestion would be great-please provide a short explaination though.

Banshees(these are women ghosts that wail loudly during the night. When you are plagued by one you are supposed to die, though not all who have been bothered by one have died)

Siren(a beautiful woman who tends to sit on a rock in the middle of the ocean. She sings her song, supposedly very beautiful and enchanting, to hypnotize sailors and lure them to her so that they crash their ship into the rock she's sitting on and shipwreck) Side note: a siren always has super long hair. They tend to comb it with a silver comb.

Woman In White(another type of ghost. They tend to stand somewhere on a desolate road in a dress(some have white dresses, some do not)and look like they need a ride. When someone stops and offers them a lift, they get in and give out the address of the place they wish to go. Some choose to go to the spot of their death, some choose to go to what used to be their home. Some even go, apparently, to the place they are buried: cemetery, woods ect. They all, however, disappear when the vehicle they are riding in stops at their stop)Side Note: most famous example of a woman in white is the Vanishing Hitchhiker.

Werecat(a creature that can transform into the form of a cat of some sort. Some say they can become several different species of cats, ranging from household cats to tigers, while others say they can only become one type of cat)

Hope I helped you out at least a little bit. Good luck on the story and may it be original*

The half-man, half-horse creatures are actually called centaurs. Satyrs are half-man, half-goat. Perhaps a shape shifter. Incubi/succubi look human, an incubus is male, succubus is female.
