I had a freaky nightmare (I have many of them… but this one really freaked me out). What happened in it was that there was this guy who kept murdering people. I was in his house and as he kicked me out, I noticed a chain in his bed that was rattling and there was also a bloody knife there. Then when I was on my way home, the ghost started talking to me and telling me how that man killed him. Then he brought me to the spot where the man was and I saw the man murder a girl. He stuck a knife into the girl and there was a huge puddle of blood. Then all of these ghosts started coming to me asking if I could help them catch the guy so he won’t murder anyone else. I remember freaking out and telling my friends about what I saw and I told my friends. They all thought I was crazy until they saw the guy. Then just when they realized, the guy came to kill m e and I woke up right before he did. I had been sweating a lot and I was screaming when I woke up, so I changed my clothes, went to the bathroom, got some water and went back to bed. I couldn’t sleep so I turned on my ipod to play a game and then my dog got up and started crying and scratching at the door (she’s old so yeah) and so I opened up the door, but at the time I thought she was still on the floor of my bed. I then turned on the lights to find out she left, but I still seriously thought that someone was there. I got up and went to the bathroom, and the whole time I had that same feeling. I did think I saw a shadow and I knew it wasn’t mine… Eventually, I got used to the feeling and fell asleep into yet another nightmare...

Does this mean that it was a ghost? If so, how do I know if there’s a ghost in my room? I’m not really afraid of the ghost, I’m more afraid of getting hurt. I mean I’ve talked to ghosts in my dreams and stuff, but never in real life. But I feel that this one needs help. idk.

So is it a ghost and if so, what should I do about it ?

You need to be very relaxed when trying to feel if there is a ghost is in your presence. The doors in your mind need to be opened. When you do this, you will notice the difference in temperature in the room and feel the energy of the ghost.

You really need to be careful. A ghost can physically hurt you if it has enough energy. When I was younger, I knew there was something wrong in a particular area of the house. I was afraid to walk on the stairs. I have been tripped on the stairs, and I have had scratch marks on my ankles.

You need to go back to the history of your house. When was your house built? If there was a murder or a death, did it make it into the newspaper? You can find this stuff online or at the library.

For me, I closed the door in my mind. I know there is still something in the house. My mom and I have both experienced things. Doors have shut when there was no wind or air conditioning, a fan turned off then back on again, things get knocked off somehow where the cats couldn't have gotten too, and the cats have even acted weird now and again. But it really isn't a daily occurrence. It's a once and a while freak out.

I have done the ouja board to get a spirit to detach itself from me. But I cation you when you do that. More doors can be opened when doing this.

Just be calm. You don't want to feel fear. That would give the ghost a sense of power over you. You don't want that.

Good luck.

Two things I can think of:

1) You just had a dream. Perhaps it was the effect of watching too much t.v., or you have had some crazy stuff going on in your life. Your mind could have been in overdrive and you are having nightmares because of it.

2) Some people say we astral project when we sleep. When you wake with a start or have a very lucid dream...it is considered to be a possible lingering projection you had. If you somehow had contact with the astral plane, and an entity or entities had given you a glimps of what had happened during their life, that may be why.

No - your brain was on overdrive with your nightmare, so you were freaked out and imagining things.

I would consider what you're watching on TV, or what games you're playing and such before bed - because when you go to sleep right after such, your brain is still stimulated causing you these vivid dreams. Try meditation or relaxing music before bed to calm your mind.

Start keeping a log. When you are in the dream. Try look at things like a license plate. The name and color to the car. Street signs. tattoos, FOCUS on the details. Ask for their names. Write everything down and be as thorough as possible..

First off, u should be afraid of getting hurt. ghosts are very unpredictable and if they catch u off guard, then......good luck with that. well, it was more likely a shadow person. These are basically the same things as ghosts and spirits, but different. also u said u talk to ghosts in ur dreams, what did they say? and if it does need help, it probably needs help to get into the light. please contact ur local medium. (or me since i am one) so their you go.

also if it's staring to bother you, please contact me.

It's just a dream. If your having reoccurring nightmares it must mean your under a lot of stress. Had you experienced some traumatic event?
