There are often discussions about mythical/fictional vampires that most are already familiar with from myths, books, movies, television and role-playing games. There are also sometimes discussions about energy/astral beings (which do not have corporeal forms) and creatures (such as demons) with vampiric qualities; however such beings and creatures are not considered to be true vampires. In actuality, there is only one type of vampire: real vampires. Real vampires are individuals (mortal living humans) that have a genuine need for life force energies from outside sources because their bodies either consume energy too quickly or do not produce sufficient life-force energy to sustain them. Real vampires are then further classified by their feeding methods, but some will say that the different feeding methods are different types of real vampires.

Types" of Vampires

Sanguine vampires (or sanguinarians) are vampires who feed by drinking blood

Psi (or psy) vampires are vampires that feed psychically on life force energies. Psi feeding (in any form) can be done from an individual (most often a willing donor) or from the ambient energies of a group or crowd.

Empathic vampires are vampires who feed on emotional life-force energies from the emotions of people. Sexual vampires are vampires who feed on the life-force energies generated from having sex, especially the excess energies generated at the moment of orgasm. They can do so psychically and/or from bodily fluids. Female sexual vampires are sometimes referred to as succubi (singularly, succubus), and male sexual vampires are sometime referred to as incubi (singularly, incubus). Some

Another group of people that are often mistaken for being real vampires are criminal vampires, sometimes referred to as vampire killers or psychotic vampires.

Okay Vampire are real but not in the swnce you would believe. No there are not two different types like the "sanguine" or whatever and there isn't such thing as a energy vampire. It is how ever a way of life almost. It is said to be a type of retro virus causing the blood in your body to produce much more slower causing you to be anemic, in return needing blood. That is why the skin is so pale and the person is so sickly and tries to avoid sun light and so in. They don't have fangs and don't need blood. But we all believe what we want to right? I may be wrong but its a better explanation than the other answered you've gotten and yes, in the retro virus aspect, you can become one. Its like a blood swap kind of. The vamp has like two drops from and you two drops from it. Its supposed to infect your blood airgo it being called a virus. There are some sighs online about it that fo into more detail that you should check out! Hope this helped.

I believe in "never say never". How can we ever be 100 per cent sure that vampires are purely fictitious until we have used sonar and put up cameras that work 24/7 in every part of every place that exists?

Yes, there may well be tests that can pick up genes before a baby is born, but would they necessarily be able to pick up EVERY single gene? Also, would they really be available in an undiscovered/unexplored place?

Yes, a vampire who attacks and turns a person every week or so is a bit unrealistic, to say the least, but would they necessarily have to attack and turn that many people? Could they not be killing the people that they drink from and hiding the bodies? The vampires in the movie "Cirque du Freak" do not turn people just by drinking from them; they have to actually exchange blood with them to do this. They do not kill the people either; they just drink a bit of blood from them. The worst thing that would ever be likely to happen to one of their victims is that they end up a bit sick and have to take a few days off work, just like they might do if they had the flu. People do get sick due to unknown causes still, don't they?

The human body may not be designed to process large amounts of blood, but are vampires necessarily human? A person who cannot digest food may well be unable to digest blood as well, but who's to say that vampires necessarily cannot digest their own food? Although they still need blood in order to survive, the ones on "The Vampire Diaries" can actually digest food, if I remember correctly.

Some people may say that the existence of vampires is impossible because of the fact that they do not need to urinate or defecate. Who's to say that do not need to do this? They are undead. In my opinion, this means that are technically not dead when, naturally, they would have died a long time ago, or that they died and have gained at least sort of life and risen up. If there is life in them, would this not mean that they could still urinate and defecate?

Psychic vampires are definitely real. Watch the documentary "Vampire Secrets". You can probably get it very easily on Amazon. This should give you more detail about them and about how they are definitely not fake.

Please be warned that "Vampire Secrets" is just about the only vampire-related DVD set/programme that has ever freaked me out. It features one incredibly scary figure who looks a little bit like a KKK member and could have even been a suspect for Susan Walsh's disappearance and it includes graphic images and showing of what is obviously fake blood. Stories about blood coming from various parts of corpses and one incredibly freaky story about a disappearing dead body also featured on this one. There is also plenty of implied violence, one slightly graphic scene of an actor playing Rod Ferrell beating two people before drinking/appearing to drink what, again, is obviously fake blood. Rod Ferrell himself does actually feature on it, but is restrained and there is no blood, gore or visual violence in those clips. There is also plenty of implied violence and sex as well as a bit of implied sex. This documentary is absolutely NOT for anyone aged under 16 at the youngest.

Yes. The vampires of fictional books and horror movies are mythical, but there is also a real life subculture of vampires.

They aren't undead or immortal, and, most importantly, most modern vampires don't attack people to drink blood. The mythical creature arose from superstitions and folklore, but there are human beings who see themselves as vampires.

There are two types, sanguine vampires (the ones that drink blood, usually from consenting donors) and psychic vampires (who feed on energy.)

but for me I think they used to exist. I mean yes humans exaggerate things but we can't simply get an idea without seeing one, so if they created a myth of vampires then I guess they do really exist.

You seem to be very susceptible to fiction, not clearly understanding what FICTION is. Vampires are fiction. Mermaids are fiction. So are werewolves and the Slenderman. And the Easter Bunny.

Be as big a fan as you want to be, but you can't be a vampire.

No and obviously no. If vampires existed, some vampire gene would be found and they would be put in a testing facility or something. And everyone would know about vampires.

Yes but you can't become one you have to be born a vampire, if you look up on YouTube there is an episode of Tyra Banks show when she actually interviewed vampires.

Answer to your two part question.

No and no.

You cannot become what doesn't exist.

Changing into another specie is biologically and genetically impossible.

Yes vampire are very real existing creatures, But no to the question of you becoming one................... Simply because a vampire was cursed into becoming the creature that they are by God........................ Another reason that we can't become a vampire or werewolf is because we are living under the time period of grace................
