I've always liked Athena of Greek mythology or Diana of Roman (same god) She's just cool. She's a virgin and never wanted to marry. In one story she caught a hunter watching her bath in a river. She turned him into a deer and watched as his own hunting dogs tore him apart and ate him. She just had some of the coolest stories

Actually, I've always heard the story where the goddess turns a man into a deer told in regard to Artemis. She is the Moon Goddess and my favorite because she is so independent.

My favorite Goddess is Luna, she is the Goddess of the Moon, her consort to me is Sol, the God of the Sun. I use them in my spirituality, Wicca. Seeing the elements and all things in nature as living beings, personally, I cannot see a better representation of the God and Goddess. They retain the pure image of love and trust which is such a strong foundation from which to build a strong relationship with.

i like Artemis because she is a lot like me... abondoned and watched by someone not related to her. she has the best powers, being attuned with nature and all and she is super fast and not easily distracted.
