For those of you who know about Nostradamus's prophecies, who do you think "Mabus" is?

Nostradamus says that the third Antichrist is called "Mabus" and I'm willing to bet that name is off a bit because that's what happened with "Hister" who most people believe is "Hitler." He also says the 3rd AC is from the east and wears a purple turban or something of that nature. What do y'all think? Who is Mabus? Thanks friends.

He is supposed to come from the middle east and be the beginning of World War III. But if you take a step back you will realize throughout history the middle east has always been a hotbed of tension so it isn't a big jump of the imagination to predict World War III will start there, even from his time in history. As far back as the middle of the 20th century people have been naming who they think it is only to be wrong. When it comes to Nostradamus people love going through those quatrains and trying to place them. The Hister bit is almost taken as gospel but if you look it up Hister is an old name for the Danube river not necessarily a mis-spelling of Hilter.
