Could there be such things as enchanted/magical items?

Before anyone answers this question, NO I am NOT trolling. I actually believe that there could and still is such things as magic.

Honestly, how do people know that magic didn't exist back then, there is no 100% concrete evidence that it didn't exist!

As for my main question:

It has been said that real magic as portrayed in the Lord of the Rings, Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, etc. used to exist in real life long ago, but people forgot how to use it.

During that time, people created enchanted items, especially enchanted Robes. meaning anyone who would wear those enchanted Robes would be able to wield magical powers as long as they continued to wear them.

That being said, I was wondering if there was such robes existed and possibly today, but haven't been rediscovered yet! That would be awesome!! Especially if I were to rediscover one of them out in the wilderness or in the ruins of an old temple or castle, then I would be able to wield magical powers as long as I wear them!! :D

the reason people believed in magic back then was because they didn't understand the world around them yet. science has since replaced magical non-sense. there are no enchanted items, all of those books were written by very good authors, but the magic used in them is no more real than pink leprechauns.
