Question:
What does blood taste like to vampires?

Like, when they suck humans' blood, what taste fills their mouth? Just blood? If blood were to have different "food" tastes like prime rib, mashed potatoes, fruit, etc (I'm saying IF, which is rather amusing and odd, in my opinion), then would the vampires taste sweet orange juice or something? Or is it just blood?
I was thinking if each human had their own "unique" taste, what would it taste like? What would the vampires think?
What do you think? Just give me your opinions. It'll be interesting... ^_^ kuku...

blood tastes like blood. the difference is that they like it. just like some people like some food that others don't. but bloods do have differente tastes depending on sugar level, fat level, blood type, etc.

It makes me think of how scientists say things taste differently to dogs and cats than to us. It's because of the way our tastebuds are oriented...so that we are inclined to eat things that are better for us.

Fictionally speaking, I'm supposing that vampires would still taste blood. But perhaps a heightened version of what a human would taste...like, less of the coppery taste and more of the sweetness. And yes, I would imagine that each person would taste differently if (mythically speaking) a vampire was meant to partake of a certain person.

Figure that everything a person eats, the essence of that food enters their bloodstream. So a diabetic would have a sweet blood. A person with high cholesterol might have a greasier blood.

Like how people can tell where a wine comes from based on scent and flavor, so vampires figure out a person by the flavor of their blood.

Like blood. Maybe a bit sweeter, and some people taste really foul, but it'd taste like blood. Essentially.

Blood has different tastes for everyone(meaning that everyone has different tasting blood).

Being a haemavore myself(blood drinker), I know that blood can taste sweet, salty, sour, like very(VERY) cheap wine, blah blah blah.

So yes, blood is different depending on the person.

Have you ever licked the positive end of a battery?

It tastes metallic and sweet with a little tingle.

Idk a strong desired sweetness, like candy to us humans. Its like nicotine addicting to the vampires, they survive off it.
