Does illuminati mean you worship the devil ?

Well, my teacher and some of my classmates were discussing this in class today. They were saying that Barack & Michelle Obama were illuminati because they said "Yes We Can" backwards means worship satan or something like that.They also claim that Beyonce & Jay Z, and Lady Gaga as well as a few others are apart of it too. They said that Beyonce didn't want to do it, but she was forced to do it, or somebody would throw her out the window. They were giving examples of illuminati signs and images from music videos . They said that they had to sign a contract or sacrifice someone they really loved if they didn't do it. They also said that that was what happened to Jennifer Hudson. She didn't do it, so hey killed her mom, brother, and nephew. They also said a lot more stuff, but I just don't remember . So could someone please help me understand what this is or if any of this stuff is true ?

They do not worship Satan, they are "enlightened" and they do exist, though we are not sure of it today, they existed in history, starting in 1776 called The Order of the Illuminati. Also they have a connection to the Freemasons. They are believed to be in control of the world, and part of the conspiracy New World Order.
