You would have better luck if you asked this differently. Like, "How do you activate the werewolf gene?" and in the more detailed area put "Hello, I am writing a story, and in my story there is this she is -blah- years old and is a werewolf but hasn't shifted yet, how would I be able to make her shift?" otherwise you will get rude commenters and few people will be willing to answer your question seriously because of being close minded. Also, if you are what you think you are, a hunter could see this and track you down. Just a thought. I have read that sleeping under a full moon without any thing but nature in the middle of the woods is how some believed you activate this "gene".

Okay the gene you speak of is in fact real but you wont be morphing into a werewolf anytime soon. The gene will just make you more hairyer than usual. I dont believe there is a direct way to activate it.

No such thing at a werewolf gene.

Werewolves do not exist.

NEVER HAVE, NEVE WILL.

Changing into another species is genetically and biologically IMPOSSIBLE.

Therefore you can't shift into a creature that doesn't exist.

Even if werewolves did exist, because you are human, you still would not be able to shift into another species.

I know you are wrong.

You have no right telling who can or cannot answer your question.

Yahoo! Answers does not work that way.

I believe that a person could shift in the spirit world because it is physically impossible for a person to shift into another species in reality. Your spirit might be part wolf or you might be more animal like than others, therefore people say they are werewolves. You might "shift" mentaly or have better instincs and senses than other people, but you just cant turn into another species. If someone was willing to show proof they can shift I'm right here. I'm not trying to be rude but this is what I believe....and I also agree with the fact someone stated earlier, "if werewolves were real they would have been discovered by now". Sure they are cool to think about, but it just cant happen and same for vampire people THEY'RE NOT FRIGGEN REAL IF YOU SUCK BLOOD YOU HAVE PROBLEMS IF YOU LIVE FOREVER YOU DIED AND ARE A GHOST OR SOMETHING. These creatures could have existed long before this period of time but man has evolved....there is nothing to worry about as far as I'm concerned.

Your friend is very very wrong. If that were true all the la push ancestors would be alive and kicking because of the vulturi and numerous other unknown vampires in the twilight verse. Her The werewolve gene becomes active in the the la push boys (and leah)whenever vampires come - so the more vampires that come the more wolves they create. Your answer is half correct - they can't simply quit being wolves but once they learn to control themselves they don't shift at random when they get angry like Paul does. Werewolves aren't immortal but they heal quick and live extended lives but they definitly can die of old age - it would just take longer if they regularly transform. The less they transform the quicker they'll age (or something like that).

You probably can't make it active because there is no werewolf gene for you to make active and it's not like humans have control over the cells of their bodies and stuff anyway

It's not a matter of not believing. It's a matter of truth versus fiction. Werewolves don't exist. There is no werewolf gene. You are human and will be human until the day you die. Grow up and get a grip on reality.

There is no such thing as a werewolf gene. It is impossible for a person to morph into another creature. If werewolves where real they would have been discovered by now, someone morphing into a crazy wolf beast is pretty noticeable.

becoming a werewolf would defy the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, therefore it can't be done. not to mention the fact that there is a Map of our Genes on Google and "werewolf gene" is not one of them.

No such gene exists. Wolf and human genes are incompatible.
